The unofficial results from William’s sonogram are that they could not see anything abnormal. (The caveat being he was very small and uncooperative and there was a lot they could not see.) This is good and something to celebrate, but in a way I’m disappointed. I wanted to hear there was a problem that we could work on and fix so that he could get better, and we could put this behind us. It may be that he will just need to grow and give his system time to mature. In the meantime, we’re back to sleep training, this time for the middle of the night. He’s not thrilled about it, and I see a few nights of us sleeping on sofas, but it’s gotta be done if we’re going to get any rest and move forward. I have this sinking suspicion that a lot of his tummy troubles might end if I could get him weaned, so first step is to get him to sleep through the night without lots of nursing. We should hear today from the pediatrician’s office if anything was flagged from his sonogram.
We’re going to try and have some more adventures today. I think the boys may need some haircuts. What do you think? 🙂
Gabriel wasn’t all that interested in having his picture taken last night, but the front of his hair juts straight out in front of him like a ship’s prow. It is absolutely magnificent when he wakes up and gets out of bed.
Michael on the other hand is a ham.
Hope it’s a good end to the week for all of us!
